Geoffrey Herickx was born in Birmingham, England and was trained at Birmingham College of Art.

Geoffrey is a freelance professional artist.  Many of his paintings have been reproduced as open or limited edition prints including the Red Arrows and other historic aircraft, and Leicestershire landscapes.  On four occasions he has produced series of paintings for British Gas calendars.

In recent years he has specialised in painting miniatures. He is a member of the Royal Miniature Society and the Hilliard Society.

His paintings include landscapes and seascapes, with particular emphasis on light and atmosphere, wild life, portraits, figures and interiors.

He often gives lectures and demonstrations and continues to teach painting to adults. 

Painstaking attention to detail and accuracy are characteristic of his paintings, and his versatility enables him to undertake painting commissions of any subject that customers may request.  His paintings are in private collections around the world.
