2005-2007:  Masters Degree in Traditional Arts at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, with Distinction.

Helen works as an Illuminator and Designer, and also works in Ceramics.  Illumination is the use of gold, in either leaf or powder form; Helen’s designs are frequently inspired by medieval sources, and are usually on a small scale. She often incorporates tiny jewels such as amethyst, sapphires, garnets and pearls into her work, which is usually on Kelmscott vellum.

Design work includes the Medal for The Prince of Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy.

Exhibitions:

Shows work annually in the RMS exhibition at The Mall Galleries. In 2008 she received the President’s Special Commendation for two of her larger paintings.

One of Helen’s miniatures was included in an exhibition at Windsor Castle celebrating the 60th Birthday of HRH The Prince of Wales.
