Rosemary lives in Devon and has been painting miniatures for nearly thirty years.  It was on seeing the beautiful miniatures in the Wallace Collection in London that she was inspired to change from painting 'large' to painting 'small'.  She paints in both watercolour and oils and draws in silverpoint.  As well as painting portraits she enjoys painting still life, flowers and birds.

Rosemary was made an Associate of the Royal Miniature Society in 2012 and a full member in 2013.  She has also for many years been a member of the Hilliard Society.

Among the awards Rosemary has won are:-

The Royal Miniature Society Margaret Ryder for first time exhibitor, 1993
