Working
exclusively in watercolour, Tracy Hall produces exquisitely detailed miniature
paintings from her studio on the shores of Scapa Flow in Orkney. A full time
artist and illustrator, she works with both private and commercial
clients around the world and her work can be found on jigsaw puzzles, greeting
cards and a variety of other licensed products, as well as in books and
magazines.
She
first discovered miniature art in 2007 and began exhibiting the following
year, winning several awards including the Royal Miniature Society Gold Bowl.
She is now completely hooked and devotes as much time as she can to her
miniatures. She continues to exhibit regularly in the UK and overseas
and, in addition to numerous Miniature Art shows, she has also exhibited her
tiny paintings with the Society of Women Artists, the Society of Wildlife
Artists and the Society of Botanical Artists, and other awards have included Highly
Commended from the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation 'Artist of the
Year' and the Daler Rowney Award at the National Exhibition of Wildlife
Art. Her paintings can also be found throughout the year at the Llewellyn
Alexander Gallery in central London and Elford Fine Art in Tavistock, Devon.
